Congratulations, future PitchLab Fellow!
You’ve been selected to proceed to Stage Two of the Obichi PitchLab 2025 Cohort selection process.
In this stage, we want to hear directly from you — your passion, your problem, your idea, and your vision.
Your task is simple: create and share a 2-minute video pitch that tells your Obichi PitchLab story.

Stage Two Task: Your 2-Minute Video Pitch
Your video helps us understand your innovation, your clarity, and your readiness to become an Obichi Scholar. Follow the format below carefully.
Duration: Maximum 2 minutes
Quality: Simple, clear, and authentic — no need for fancy editing.
Format: Post publicly on YouTube/LinkedIn/Instagram link.

Video Format
1. Introduce yourself – Name, Country, University, Academic level (BSc/MSc/PhD/Graduate)
2. Problem: What problem or gap are you addressing? Why is it important?
3. Solution: Describe your innovation or idea and what makes it unique.
4. Impact: Who benefits from your work, and what change will it create?
5. “I am [Your Name], and this is my Obichi PitchLab story.”
Step One:
Post Your Video Online
You are required to post your video publicly on LinkedIn (preferred) or YouTube.
In addition, you can post on Instagram, which is optional but highly encouraged.
Step 2: Submit the Application Form
After posting your video, complete the Stage Two Application Form and include the link to your video post (LinkedIn or YouTube).
Your submission will only be reviewed once both the form and video post link have been received.
LinkedIn (Preferred)
1. Post your video on your LinkedIn feed.
2. Add a short caption (2–3 lines) introducing your project.
3. Tag @Obichi PitchLab and @Dr Obichi Obiajunwa.
4. Use these hashtags:

Selection Criteria (Based on Your Video Pitch)
Your Stage Two video will be evaluated using the following five criteria:

| 4. Communication & Clarity | Simple, confident, and engaging delivery. | 15% |
| 5. Passion & Commitment | Authentic enthusiasm and dedication to see the idea through. | 15% |
Tips for a Great Video
- Be natural, not scripted — speak from your heart.
- Focus on clarity over perfection.
- Maintain good lighting and sound.
- Start strong — we should feel your excitement in the first 10 seconds!
- Keep it within 2 minutes.
Timeline
